CL: Advantage Man Utd

Last night Manchester United played against Inter Milan at the San Siro for the first leg of the Champions League knockout stages, a match which ended 0-0 despite a complete domination of United in the 1st half, and a late chance in the second for Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, Giggs and Berbatov wasted many scoring opportunities as United took control of the game and caught Inter with their pace and passing precision. But Julio César, Inter’s keeper, produced many fine saves to keep out the Red ‘Hot’ Devils. The 2nd half saw a better Inter side at restart, but United were not threatened that much. The return leg will be at Old Trafford and I hope United manage to score at least 2 without conceding any, and progress to the next stage, since an away goal for Inter will put more pressure on Man Utd.

  1. It’s quite simple really. All United need to do is win which I think is very much possible. They just need to replicate their performance in the first leg. Anyhow, it will be very hard for United to lose at Old Trafford. 🙂 Let’s hope for the best. The lads will definitely fight till the end.
