United were brought back to earth by the Gunners after their brilliant display in midweek against Schalke, as this time the Red Devils gave a bitching performance to continue on their disastrous away form in the EPL, as Arsenal tore them apart in every department of the game and deserve the win. United were lucky to finish the first half at the Emirates Stadium on a 0-0 scoreline, as the ref missed a clear hand ball by Vidic, but Ramsey made them pay for the lack of aggressiveness on the 56th minute, as he slotted home Van Persie’s cross to give the Gunners a well deserved win, while SAF will be cursing himself may be for the lack of passion showed by his team and the lack of attacking momentum as well, as United only troubled Arsenal on set-pieces, and that too not dangerously taken in the end, giving the Arsenal backline a rather easy time. Chelsea are now 3 points behind after their win yesterday, and know they can win this title now, as they are back in top form, and I cannot see them lose to United next weekend, unless SAF comes up with a master stroke, else it seems more like the Blues outfit to get away with the 3 points in that game. My money is on Chelsea now for winning the title, although United can still clinch it, but it may seem that title No.19 is destined to be lifted by Liverpool next season, as they are really impressing these days, and if they continue like this next season, it could be them the team on top of the league. An exit in the CL could also be in the book, as Schalke must have sent spies to watch this game today, and if Neuer still gives the same performance and Schalke up the tempo then United could be in real trouble.
I don’t blame the fatigue for today’s mishap, as footballers are trained to play, at they are lucky they do not play everyday, 90 minutes a week or at most 180 minutes, while there are people, mostly builders etc, who do hard work everyday and yet do not even get the salary in one year that these players take in one week, and there are some players who really are not worth wearing the shirt and need to go.
