David De Gea’s debut with Man United did not end in a cleansheet, but he did well to throughout his first game, as United eventually came back from a 1-0 deficit to win 1-3. At half time the score was 1-0 in favour of Chicago Fire, courtesy of Gibbs (not the Arsenal lad) on the 13th minute, while United had a great chance to open the score themselves before that, but Berbatov saw his shot saved (yet to score by the way for the pre-season games). De Gea then did well to keep United in the game as he made a couple of saves. The second half saw Rooney, Nani and other more established players coming on for the youth who started, and Rooney scored on the 66th minute to level the score. Rafael then scored on the 76th minute after coming on as a sub as well, and another sub, Nani, scored on the 82nd minute to wrap up the win. Highlights and lineup below.
