The title hunt is still alive

Manchester United kept the pressure on neighbours Man City, as the Red Devils claimed an essential win away from White Hart Lane, inflicting a second defeat in a row to Spurs with a 1-3 scoreline. The Red Devils were dominated almost throughout the match, but showed their clinical finishing skills to down Spurs, as Rooney scored on the 45th minute by heading in Young’s corner, and in the second half, Young first fired in a scissor kick past Friedel on the hour mark, then on the 69th minute, he scored with one of his specials, curling the ball past the outstretched dive of Friedel from 30 yards out. Spurs responded late on through Defoe, as he collected a loose ball from Giggs to run at Ferdinand, and sending a 25 yard drive past the rooted De Gea, the latter being helpless after making 2 fine saves early on in the match. In the end, it is three vital points claimed for the Red Devils as they chase Man City, and a good moral boost as well as they prepare for the Europa League game against Bilbao.
