United march on

Manchester United took an 8 points lead in the title race while waiting for the match between Arsenal and Man City later today, as the  Red Devils quite controversially won 2-0 over QPR. The first goal was from the penalty spot, converted by Rooney on the 15th minute, after Ashley Young went down in the box following some contact with Derry, but the former was offside when the ball was played to him, which went unnoticed by the officials, while the latter was sent off following the foul. United then kept possession and dominated but failing to add more until the 68th minute, as Scholes launched a piledriver from 25 yards out to secure the points, and Carrick came very close later on but his shot was saved by the post, keeping the scoreline on 2-0. Overall it was a happy Easter Sunday for the Red Devils, while waiting for their match against Wigan in midweek.
