Manchester United DHL Tour 2012 – Match 3 review

Manchester United tamed the “dragons” in China 😈 , as the Red Devils kept on their unbeaten run for the DHL 2012 Tour, this time Kagawa being the hero as he scored the only goal of the match against Shanghai Shenhua, for which both Anelka and Drogba were absent, to secure a 0-1 win and claim the Chevrolet China Cup. United however looked timid and disjointed in the heat and humidity, but eventually came to life in the second half, with Bebe and Kagawa proving to be a handful, and eventually, the pair combined as Bebe provided the pass for Kagawa to go on and score on the 68th minute.

Next stop will be against Valerenga in Norway for yet another friendly on 5th of August.

United Line-up:

Lindegaard (Johnstone 46); Veseli (Vermijl 71), Carrick, Ferdinand, Brady; Valencia (Lingard 71), Powell (Tunnicliffe 46), Anderson (Scholes 71), Petrucci (Bebe 46); Kagawa, Macheda (Hernandez 60)
