Attack is the best form of defense

Sir Alex’s pleas seem to have hit the right ears after some time, as the Red Devils gave a good display away to Newcastle to return home with an impressive win of 0-3, with 2 goals scored by our defensive players, and the third one by a defensive midfielder to show that even the defense can play an important role in winning a game. Evans scored with a header following RvP’s corner kick on the 8th minute as United pressed early on, and Evra emulated his defensive partner on the 15th minute, this time from Rooney’s corner kick. United enjoyed a great spell for the first 20 minutes before falling into defensive mode, where De Gea showed from frailties in his aerial outings. Newcastle could have scored a goal in the second half due to this, but even replays failed to show clearly whether the ball had entirely crossed the line before De Gea palmed it out. United eventually got back in attacking mode, and even if it was more a fluke rather than intended, Cleverley managed to curl in a beauty into the top corner  on the 71st minute to seal the win.
