Revenge was in the air

After their controversial defeat in the league on Sunday, the much awaited revenge match between Chelsea and Man Utd for the Capital One Cup promised to be another fiery affair, and all promises were kept, as the blues eventually won 5-4 (a.e.t.), with in bonus 2 penalties for Chelsea and 1 for United. United’s defensive demons are still present, as they made some fatal mistakes which cost them the match, as they were leading 2-3 in injury time until a penalty came to settle the scores and led to extra-time. Giggs scored twice for United, with one a-piece for Chicharito and Nani, while Chelsea had 5 different scorers, namely Luiz, Cahill, Hazard, Sturridge and Ramires. Defeat means United’s out of this trophy race, while the blues will meet Leeds in the next round.
