Yes 3 points won, yes 15 points clear off Man City, but the quality of football displayed earlier today by the Red Devils shows why they are out of the CL and an identical fate could be met soon in the FA Cup. Rooney scored the only goal of the match against Reading on the 20th minute, thanks to a deflection off Pearce which saw the ball looped into the top corner, but from thereon, instead of putting more pressure, it was the bad habits which took over, as United looked more on keeping possession and defend this lead, while Reading crept in the game, with a warning on the half hour mark as Robson-Kanu flashed a shot just wide. They were even denied what looked like a stonewall penalty in the second half as Vidic pushed Marriapa to ground, but the officials were not to be moved. RvP made the keeper work from a freekick at the other end, but clearly he is not the same player who took the United fans by storm in his first games with the team, as his influence was minimal in this match, and should be rested for a while I firmly believe. To be honest, it was a very boring display from a team of United’s standards, but it may not end soon, as SAF once said he’s willing to take 1-0 wins throughout the season to ensure he wins the title in the end and looks like he’s implementing it 🙄
He simply wants to play a bit with the emotions of Manchester United Fans as well as his competitors! 😛

Still too early for such games, we still have to play City, Arsenal and Chelsea and some other important away games as well
