Is The Special One back to dominate the Premier League (once again)?

Jose is backWith news concerning Manchester United going around as slow as a snail (or even slower 😆 ), let’s welcome back José Mourinho to Chelsea after his spell at Real Madrid, where the Special One is back with a 4-year contract in the bag, and has vowed to stay for a longer time with the Blues. However, one striking thought is that, who will be able to stop him? Sir Alex is gone, Mancini has been sacked, and only Wenger is left as one of the longest serving managers, along with Moyes, although the latter will have a very tough job at United. Yes, Man City has a very good squad, but will Pellegrini be able to manage the players’ ego, and fit in the team as Mancini did is another question, as this is the EPL and things can turn sour very quickly if the team fails to live up to expectations…

Wenger knows all about Mourinho, but still, his Arsenal team is not yet up to the level unless he really brings in quality players to make them real title challengers, while Moyes is yet to officially take charge of United, and will have to deal with changes in staff, and of course the Rooney saga, along with getting the players adapted to his style of play. Thus, the balance is more in favour of Mourinho, as his previous records in the EPL speak for himself, along with his accomplishments in other leagues after leaving Chelsea.

Moreover, he has a current squad which has won the Europa League, players of very good quality, and even more to come given he has the cheques awaiting to be signed, and the power to attract quality players. He has also worked in different leagues over the time, acquiring more experiences than any of the above-mentioned managers who can challenge him, but of course, only time will tell whether all these mentioned factors will indeed make him taste the successes we are expecting, or we’ll see a miracle coming from somewhere else…
