AON Tour 2013: Henriquez to the rescue

HenriquezManchester United brought an end to their AON Tour 2013 last night in Stockholm, as the Red Devils faced Swedish opponents AIK, which proved to be a tough nut to crack in the end, as youngster Angelo Henriquez came to United’s rescue to return back with a draw, final score 1-1. Quaison had broken the deadlock for AIK on the 49th minute, and Henriquez, who came on for Nani, scored the equalizer on the 68th minute as he tapped in Zaha’s cross into an empty net. RvP, who was celebrating his 30th birthday, however, could not find the net despite playing on the whole game. United have other things to worry about however, as both Nani and Evans were taken off due to injury, and it could pose problems for the line-up selection for the match on Saturday, where United will meet Wigan for the traditional Community Shield match. Not to forget Rio’s testimonial match on the 9th against Sevilla.

United’s line-up:

Lindegaard (Amos 46), Rafael, Evans (Smalling 53), Vidic, Evra, Anderson, Carrick, Giggs (Bebe 79), Zaha (Welbeck 78), Van Persie, Nani (Henriquez 31)
