A saviour named Januzaj

i18-year old Januzaj saved Manchester United and Moyes from another defeat today in the Premier League, as the youngster scored twice on his first start for a 2-1 win against Sunderland. United were down after only 4mins played as a defensive mix up between Jones and Vidic gifted Gardner the opener. United fell into sleep mode but with only Januzaj trying to get the team back on track while the likes of Rooney or RvP were missing from action. De Gea had to save United a couple of times as Sunderland threatened to get away with the game, though United started to get a grip on the ball before half time.
Januzaj was eventually rewarded in the second half for his efforts. Having played a one-two with Evra, he was at the conclusion of the action with a very good right foot finish on the 54th minute. Six minutes later he was again on the scoresheet with this time a sublime volley as O’Shea’s clearance fell nicely to him. United then contented themselves to hold on to the lead and could have scored a third in added time had Cleverley opted to shoot instead of trying to dribble his way upfront while the keeper had gone in United’s half following a corner kick.
Januzaj has shown that he has the potential to earn a spot in the team, however, his future is still undecided as he’s yet to sign a contract extension with United and City as well are interested in signing him.
