Sheriff is jailed

The Red Devils managed to get their first win in the Europa League, as they saw off Sheriff Tiraspol on a 0-2 scoreline in Moldova, with Ronaldo finally getting off the mark for the season.

Both goals were scored in the first half, with Sancho scoring on the 17th minute following a one-two with Eriksen, and Ronaldo added a second and his first for the season from the penalty spot on the 39th minute following a foul on Dalot. Sheriff did give United some scares at the other end, but couldn’t find the net. United looked for a third goal in the second half that never came, as they as well couldn’t create a real scoring chance, but the two-goal cushion was enough in the end.
