No comeback as United misfire completely

Hardly a match to remember if you are a Manchester United fan, as the Red Devils yet again fell behind, but this time there was no miracle to save them despite having Chicharito and RvP up front, as Norwich were well organized and did well to keep them at bay, and did even better by scoring the only goal of the match through Pilkington on the hour mark to seal an important win for the Canaries, while SAF was left red-faced and second in the table as the noisy neighbours hammered Aston Villa earlier to go on top. United failed to produce creative play in the first half, with the only notable attempt from RvP which Ruddy kept out, while United kept possession for a long period without being dangerous, and only by the end of the first half did we see another attempt, this time from Young which again Ruddy kept out. The second half was yet another repeat of the first one, but this time Norwich took the chance presented to them as Pilkington headed in Garrido’s cross, and then made sure that United did not get any notable chance to score. They did however get a late scare as Bassong could have scored an own goal had Ruddy not be on alert, while he was again on hand to stop Anderson’s shot in the dying seconds. United’s third defeat already, and with their predictable tactics it will not be their last one for sure, unless SAF brings around drastic changes in his attempt to win another title before retiring. RvP seemed to be playing too low on the field for the major part of the game, while for a couple of games or so, Valencia has been killing off the actions on the wing, while pace and physical impact seem to be his weapons, he’s been delaying play by holding on to the ball unnecessarily, while on the other hand we can see teams like Aston Villa previously and Norwich today breaking quickly with their wingers and crossing dangerously. However it has to be repeated, United need to get a real midfield dynamo in the coming transfer market, as playing Giggs instead of Scholes/Anderson/Cleverley was not a brilliant move by the gaffer today, and knowing that Scholes will not last for too long as well, and the other 2 not really consistent, a world class player is indeed required. Time is ticking, so better react quickly before everything blows away.
